Drawing in the new Ashmolean galleries

drawing of Indian sculpture in the Ashmolean

I went to the new galleries at the Ashmolean Museum today. I always enjoy drawing at the Ashmolean but found it more inspiring to draw from the sculpture than the painting. New galleries are great and transform the place. Very crowded and some parts still not fully labelled. The painting is a mixed bag but all the more fun for that.
