I don’t often get a chance to draw much in the weekly life class I run at school, but this week student numbers were small so I was able to do these. I was rather pleased with them at the time – mostly because I so enjoyed doing them – even at the end of a long day in school (this is an evening class) but looking at them now I am more critical.
My style of drawing has changed a lot since I was a guest student at the Royal Academy Schools in London. I remember there we could spend a day (or even 2) on one drawing – which killed the thing really. We dont often do more than 25 minutes on the drawings in my class…
